Microsoft reviews current editor’s draft of HTML 5 spec

Microsoft is getting serious about the next major revision to the markup language that powers the Web. That’s important because Internet Explorer remains the most widely used browser. In a mailing list posting, Internet Explorer Program Manager Adrian Bateman indicated that the software giant wants to get down to business with the new spec:
