Pick of the week: Wii Sports Resort (Wii)

While the original Wii Sports came as a pack-in game for those of us in North America, providing the perfect killer app to show just what the Wii was capable of, its sequel is a stand-alone game. But Wii Sports Resort will once again be introducing gamers to a new form of control, as each copy comes packed with the Wii-remote-enhancing Wii MotionPlus. The game takes place on a resort island, where players can take part in 12 different activities. These include new experiences like swordplay, table tennis, and canoeing, as well as returning favorites like golf and bowling. We’ve been digging into the game, so expect a review soon.
