Nintendo not worried about poor Wii Vitality Sensor reaction

One of the most surprising announcements at this year’s E3 was the unveiling of the Wii Vitality Sensor, a tiny plastic clip that measures the player’s heart rate. The peripheral received a negative reaction, but that doesn’t bother Nintendo. In fact, according to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils Aime, the situation is similar to products like the Nintendo DS, the Wii, and the balance board, all of which raised eyebrows when announced.
